Premier World News is a Nigerian online newspaper that reports politics, metro news, education, security, entertainment and world events under the motto “based on truth”.
What we did
- Rebuilt the homepage into a news layout with category sections and no repeated stories
- Added share buttons, related stories and click-to-enlarge photo galleries
- Set up Google News markup, a news sitemap and editorial, privacy and terms pages
- Compressed hundreds of large photos and removed unused plugins, taking mobile page-speed scores into the high 90s
- Cleaned up and secured the site after a malware attack, and added bot protection for comments
