How we reviewed this phone: WebBuild Tech has not tested the Apple iPhone 17e ourselves. This review brings together the published specifications and the findings of GSMArena’s full hands-on review, which included lab tests of the battery, display and cameras. Opinions below are attributed to that testing. Prices and availability in Nigeria vary, so check with authorised retailers.
The iPhone 17e, released on 11 March 2026, is the most affordable new iPhone. It has a 6.1-inch OLED screen, Apple’s A19 chip, a single rear camera, IP68 water resistance and now supports MagSafe.
GSMArena says it starts at $600 / €700 with 256GB of storage.
Quick verdict
GSMArena found meaningful upgrades: better performance, noticeably longer battery life, faster charging and MagSafe. But a 60Hz display, slow charging, a single rear camera and a design with a large notch and thick bezels feel behind the times, and the reviewers suggest last year’s iPhone 16 is the better bargain.
