Samsung Galaxy A57 review: an S-series feel for the mid-range, at a high price

How we reviewed this phone: WebBuild Tech has not tested the Samsung Galaxy A57 ourselves. This review brings together the published specifications and the findings of GSMArena’s full hands-on review, which included lab tests of the battery, display and cameras. Opinions below are attributed to that testing. Prices and availability in Nigeria vary, so check with authorised retailers.

The Galaxy A57 went on sale on 9 April 2026. It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display, Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chip, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, IP68 protection and a promise of six major Android updates.

Quick verdict

GSMArena says the A57 “looks and feels like an S-series phone”, with a more refined design, slimmer bezels, a lighter body, surprisingly good main and selfie cameras and better battery life. Performance trails rivals, and the reviewers say it is a hard sell until it gets a price cut, because the Galaxy A56 is almost the same phone for much less.
