How we reviewed this phone: WebBuild Tech has not tested the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE ourselves. This review brings together the published specifications and the findings of GSMArena’s full hands-on review, which included lab tests of the battery, display and cameras. Opinions below are attributed to that testing. Prices and availability in Nigeria vary, so check with authorised retailers.
Samsung’s latest “Fan Edition” went on sale on 4 September 2026. The S26 FE keeps the formula of offering most of the Galaxy S experience for less: a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, a triple camera with 3x zoom, IP68 protection and seven years of Android upgrades.
GSMArena puts its launch price at €700/$700 for the base 128GB model.
Quick verdict
GSMArena says there is “very little actually wrong” with the S26 FE: it is fast, refined and versatile, with a meaningful performance upgrade and better battery life. But it barely changes from the S25 FE, drops some features and costs more, so the older model at a discount may be the smarter buy.

Performance and battery
The Exynos 2500 is substantially faster than the Exynos 2400 in last year’s model and brings the S26 FE close to last-generation flagship speed. Charging is now 45W wired, reaching 69% in 30 minutes in GSMArena’s test, with 15W wireless charging.
Alternatives to consider
GSMArena lists the Galaxy S25 FE, Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max, Honor 600 Pro and vivo V70 as alternatives.
Who should buy it
Worth it for Samsung fans who want long software support and flagship-like features, especially if you can get it with a trade-in or promotion. Otherwise, a discounted Galaxy S25 FE offers almost the same experience.

Buying tips for Nigeria
- Buy from an authorised dealer or the brand’s official store so you get a valid local warranty.

- Imported units may not support every Nigerian network band or come with warranty support here, so confirm before paying.
