How we reviewed this phone: WebBuild Tech has not tested the Xiaomi 17T Pro ourselves. This review brings together the published specifications and the findings of GSMArena’s full hands-on review, which included lab tests of the battery, display and cameras. Opinions below are attributed to that testing. Prices and availability in Nigeria vary, so check with authorised retailers.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is the top model in Xiaomi’s T series. It combines a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and IP68 protection.
GSMArena reports a launch price of €900 for the 12GB/256GB model, €100 more than last year.
Quick verdict
GSMArena praises its all-round camera hardware, excellent display, high-performance chip, fast charging and, this year, excellent battery life. As with previous T models, the launch price stops the reviewers from giving it an outright recommendation, but a few months after release it could be “an excellent all-rounder” at a more reasonable price.

Alternatives to consider

Buying tips for Nigeria
- Buy from an authorised dealer or the brand’s official store so you get a valid local warranty.
- Dial *#06# and make sure the IMEI matches the box. See our guide on how to check a phone is original.
- Imported units may not support every Nigerian network band or come with warranty support here, so confirm before paying.
