The Motorola Edge 70 Pro, released on 29 April 2026, has a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip, a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W wired charging, and IP68/IP69 protection. It is thinner and lighter than last year’s model and adds a 50MP periscope telephoto.
Quick verdict
GSMArena calls it “another very solid addition” to the Edge line, with battery life among the best in its class, an excellent display, clean software and a consistently capable camera. Short software support and high launch pricing hold it back, but closer to €550–600 it becomes “one of the more complete upper-midrange smartphones”.
